Head Start/Early Head Start provides services to age and income eligible children and their families. We have done everything we can to open our doors safely and follow federal and local protocols throughout the pandemic, so we can continue to provide a safe, enriching environment for infants, toddlers, and pre-school-aged children. Caregivers who receive public assistance or participate in the foster system are automatically eligible.įederal funding provides the funds for 1,080 Head Start and 205 Early Head Start slots in Erie County, 200 Head Start slots for Niagara County, and 190 Child Care Partnership slots to our Head Start/Early Head Start programs. Our team reaches out regularly to caregivers, by phone or through in-person meetings and visits, to offer needed support.
